Four apartments carved out of our family house, minutes away from the beaches of south-east Sardinia.
There was a time when half the neighbourhood came to this house for water. The well stood in the courtyard and the women of the village arrived carrying amphorae — the very ones you will recognise in the old photographs hanging on the apartment walls.
The house belonged to Amelia, mother of Bruno, who welcomes you here today. Over the years it was divided into four apartments, each with its own name and character — and one of them is called Il Pozzo, “the well”, for a reason you now know.
The amphora in our logo comes from there: from a house that opened its door to whoever passed by. The idea has not changed, now that our guests come from a little further away.
We are in the centre of San Vito, in the Sarrabus: a real village, where you can walk to the bakery and the shops, and from which a short drive takes you to some of the finest beaches in south-east Sardinia.
On arrival we hand you our own guide, with addresses, phone numbers and the places we personally recommend.
*Outdoor space is available at Il Pozzo, La Terrazza and La Palma. La Bottega opens directly onto the street.
Every apartment is fitted with the safety devices required by current Italian regulations for holiday rentals.
